Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Our farm produces extra virgin olive oil, in keeping with the Tuscan tradition. We take particular care in the entire production process, including the grinding of the olives—which is done the same day as the harvest. We do this at a low temperature to preserve the quality of the final product.

The artwork on the label was created by the internationally known South African artist, William Kentridge—who was inspired by the beauty and size of La Morellina's olive trees.

We have approximately 2,000 olive trees that are planted at a distance of 6mt x 6mt. They include 3 species of trees: Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo. We harvest the olives by hand and transfer them to the oil mill in open crates to maintain the air circulation.

The strong personality of O-LEO is akin to Magliano in Toscana— the location of the olive groves, and a region with a long tradition of producing excellent quality olive oil.
